Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War

And again, even though there's one more console game left for the Xbox 360, I'm going to take a break from the series. I don't think I have it in me to do another Ace Combat review so soon. Though, I can't seem to escape air combat games, because After Burner Climax is being released on the 360 this Wednesday!

Also, I've taken this small breathing room to get back into Halo 3 again. It's still pretty accessible, though, you can still get your ass handed to you if you're going up against a coordinated team. Also, I had the misfortune of going down a rank thanks to a troll booting me from a game for accidentally killing him. Before this happened, he was team trolling, going around hitting his team and irritating. Unfortunately, I happened to be beside him when I was trying to destroy a Warthog. I managed to get it, killing the driver inside, killing myself, and betraying the troll accidentally. Second later, I was out of the game. I ended up having to play about another hour and a half to regain my lost rank. -_-;

Another crazy moment happened on the Valhalla map during the bomb planting mode. It was sudden death, and I had the bomb, heading towards the base. I was at the waterfall when a sniper spotted me. He hit me once, but didn't kill me. I had to land in the water below, because a group was closing in from behind. At that point, I jumped around like crazy, assuming for sure I was going to get destroyed by the sniper still keeping his eyes on me. He missed with every single bullet, and it got so absurd, that I managed to just walk up to him and knock him out with the bomb while he was reloading. I didn't make a successful plant, but it was a hilariously dramatic moment.

Oh, Standoff is still an amazingly crappy map with its horrible respawn spots.

I've only just started playing Halo 3 online. I'm stifflingly ordinary, but I kinda expected that after picking the game up cold after so long.

I guess it's because Halo 3 is the longest I've ever played an online multiplayer game that its ins and outs just stuck with me.

I still can't properly handle the sniper rifle, though. People are moving too erractically to make a good shot, plus, I just don't have the patience to stand still for more than 5 seconds.
