Meh, thought I'd never find myself....
August 07, 2008

disabling comments for one of my videos, but this was starting to get out of control. Two people started arguing, and then, all of a sudden, 6 or 7 new posters mysteriously appeared within the past 2 days to tell me how much my skills suck.

If I let it go on, it would've just turned into a stupid flame war.

Also, hilariously, my last post was marked for spam... for posting in my own video page.

Meh, they're just cocky PC gamers who don't understand the limits a controller brings. I have a friend like that, and he insists that movement with a keyboard is better than analog. I mean, come on.

Oddly enough, I was playing 2Fort for at least two hours earlier today (this is probably the most time I've spent with it -- I'm usually on Goldrush or Dustbowl). I discovered several things: (a) If you scout rush the enemy intel at the very beginning of the match, you've got a good chance of making a capture, (b) this level makes for fantastic sniper practice, (c) setting up teleporters and turrets directly underneath the enemy base makes you feel like a god, and (d) don't let that happen to your base.

Yeah, I remember playing a 2Fort session on the PC where our team built a mini base in their sewers. We had teleporters, dispensers, and two beefed up turrets. The other team was trying like crazy to destroy them when coming down the stairs. They almost destroyed the two turrets, so I switched to a Sniper, rushed down there, and kept most of them at the stairs for a good 2 minutes. I'm just... surprised no one else on our team attempted to get the briefcase during that timeframe....

I'm a sucky Sniper, too. I would have been long dead if a dispenser wasn't right beside me. I'm mainly a Spy/Pyro person myself.

Yeah, as it turns out, the classes I initially hated wound up being my favorites. The spy in particular is tough to use effectively and often requires luck, but can be the most rewarding class if you play your cards right. And I had trouble putting the demo to good use at first, but he's now one of my most-used classes. But yeah, pyro is still fun because of the "rush in and burn everything" mentality.

All people who comment on youtube videos in an immature, obnoxious manner are idiots who need to be liquidated.

Haha you can't win on youtube. If that was the PC version you would be getting comments like "PC version is for n00bs xbox has better graphics and gameplay".
