UTV Ignition announced today that the latest title in the niche series, Mercury Hg, is available for download on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Finally, you can slide your blob of mercury around in high-definition!

It seems I'm not the only one missing the post-touchdown sack. Electronic Arts announced today that NFL Blitz, my favorite football game ever alongside Tecmo Bowl on the NES, will be revived in the form of a new Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network title. The new offering will be available in January 2012 for 1200 Microsoft Points (or for $14.99, if you're a Sony user).

Square-Enix dropped a gift today in the form of "The Missing Link," downloadable content for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Like most gifts provided by the games industry, this is one you'll need to pay for, but those who have been anxiously awaiting more adventures with lead character Adam Jensen probably won't mind.

According to Ubisoft, you can plug any real guitar with a standard 1/4" input jack using the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. Developed exclusively for Rocksmith, the cable turns the guitar's signal from analog to digital, which means that what you're playing on your real guitar can for the first time be recognized by a video game.
