Thankfully, NIS America is bringing the latest alchemy sim to western audiences. With Atelier Meruru, the third Alchemist of Arland game, American alchemists will be able to get that much needed training.

Today, ZeniMax announced that of the 7 million launch copies of Skyrim that were shipped for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, more than half were sold in the first 48 hours. That's 3.5 million people playing Skyrim.

Those who choose to play Skyrim, the latest entry in the Elder Scolls franchise, on the Xbox 360 may notice one problem. If the game is installed to the hard drive, blurry textures are certain to show up from time to time, peppering the landscape and detracting from the experience. This is certainly a disappointment, but fear not. Bethesda is aware of the issue and already hard at work on a solution.
