According to CD Projekt CEO Marcin Iwinski, after checking some illegal download sites, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has been pirated about 4.5 million times. He added "As of today we have sold over one million legal copies, so having only 4.5 - 5 illegal compies for each legal one would be not a bad ratio."

Final Fantasy Type-0 (PSP)

Final Fantasy Type-0 localization confirmed

Despite topping Japanese sales charts, Final Fantasy Type-0 has always been in an awkward position when it comes to getting a localization. The Vita is only a few months away, and Type-0 is a PSP game with no US release date. Worse yet, every "confirmation" of it being localized has turned out to be false. All that changes now, as an overseas version has finally been confirmed.

This year celebrates Zelda's 25th anniversary, and Nintendo has done an amazing job of honoring the franchise with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. However, they aren't the only ones interested in paying tribute to the beloved adventure series. Eighteen indie composers have come together to show their love in the form a Legend of Zelda tribute album titled 25YEARLEGEND.

I'd completely understand if you've been hesitant to take the bite on id Software's Rage. Critical reception was lukewarm, with some critics loving the game's beautiful visuals and gunplay, while disliking the narrative and many of its design decisions. Maybe a playable demo of the title can help you decide if the house that made Doom still has its touch.

According to Japanese magazines Jump and V Jump, Kingdom Hearts fans will soon be hearing the bells of Notre Dame. A Disney world inspired by the film The Hunchback of Notre Dame is confirmed to be in Kingdom Hearts 3D, the next entry in the franchise.

Naughty Dog announced today via the PlayStation Blog the Jak and Daxter Collection will be jumping onto store shelves near you in Feb. 2012. The collection will consist of of the original title, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3 in 720p.
