Mortal Kombat koming to Vita

Mortal Kombat image

"The original game content and new features we developed for the PlayStation Vita will provide gamers with the best fighting game experience available on the new mobile platform." said Ed Boon, series Creative Director, though those new features haven't yet been revealed.

With the likes of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, and BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, the Vita is already building a respectable library of fighting games. Today Warner Bros. Interactive announced plans to add Mortal Kombat to that list.

"The original game content and new features we developed for the PlayStation Vita will provide gamers with the best fighting game experience available on the new mobile platform." said Ed Boon, series Creative Director, though those new features haven't yet been revealed.

The Vita version of the game will include Kratos as a playable character, like its PS3 brother. The box art also seems to imply that it will include all of the DLC characters, like the Komplete Edition that was announced not too long ago.

Mortal Kombat hits Vita this Spring.

Rhody likes to press the keys on his keyboard. Sometimes the resulting letters form strings of words that kind of make sense when you think about them for a moment. Most times they're just random gibberish that should be ignored. Ball-peen wobble glurk.

"Koming...." very Klever.

Freddy Kreuger was such a bizarre addition to the game, though he fit in okay with the mythos, I suppose.

Eh, why not? They can put Darth Vader, Yoda, Spawn, and Link in Soul Calibur.

Now we all know who they should put in the next MK: Mister Rogers.
