Kid Icarus: Uprising bundled with a stand in Japan
The 3DS and its "sweet spot" for 3D have created a problem for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The game is controlled with the circle pad and touch screen at the same time, meaning it can sometimes be difficult to keep the system still and stay in the 3D zone.
The 3DS and its "sweet spot" for 3D have created a problem for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The game is controlled with the circle pad and touch screen at the same time, meaning it can sometimes be difficult to keep the system still and stay in the 3D zone.
Well Uprising producer Masahiro Sakura tweeted a solution. The game will be bundled with a free 3DS stand to keep the unit still during play. "Touching the screen works better if it's secured," says Sakurai's tweet. Of course, this makes the game significantly less portable, but players can always opt to just turn the 3D effect off when on the go.
The stand hasn't yet been announced for release outside of Japan, but since it fixes a universal problem with the game, you can probably expect to see it bundled everywhere.
