Army Corps of Hell invading Vita at launch
Army Corps of Hell, best described as a demon-infested take on Pikmin, has just released in Japan alongside the Vita. In a recent announcement by Square Enix, it was revealed that, like its Japanese release, Army Corps of Hell would be releasing at the same time as the Vita in the US.
This places the game's US release date on February 22nd of the coming year. Army Corps of Hell lets players control armies of goblins to attack much larger, more powerful monsters.
As part of the announcement, Square Enix released a batch of screenshots of the game, showing off various in-game mechanics. Players are able to equip their armies with a variety of weapons and armor. In fact, they're able to alchemize the equipment their army uses.
There is also what appears to be a music-based mechanic as part of the game, though how it affects combat isn't clear from the screenshots. Square Enix says they'll reveal more details about Army Corps of Hell at the start of the new year, so those interested will have to wait until then to learn more.
