Rhythm Heaven Fever releasing in February at a budget price
Fans of rhythm games have a reason to keep their Wii around with revelation that Rhythm Heaven Fever, formerly known as Rhythm Heaven Wii, is only two months away. However, the new February 13th release date isn't the only thing Nintendo announced about the game. It will be releasing at a special budget price, too.
The game, which features over fifty challenging minigames, will be releasing at a suggested retail price of $29.99. That's a great price for what Nintendo promises will be an "easy-to-learn, tough-to-master" experience.
According to the Nintendo, Rhythm Heaven Fever's wacky minigames are all new, though they still feature the franchise's familiar brand of catchy music. Most of this music is composed by TSUNKU♂, a Japanese pop music producer. Rhythm Heaven Fever also has a multiplayer mode, something new to the Rhythm Heaven franchise.
The game released in Japan to surprising success for such a niche genre, reaching over 100,000 in sales over the course of a single week. The budget price it is getting in the US will certainly help it succeed here as well, as will the Rhythm Heaven series' dedicated fanbase.
