New Mario Kart Wii bundle is like old Mario Kart Wii Bundle but not as good

There's been a Wii bundle including Mario Kart Wii and a Wii Wheel for quite some time now, but Nintendo is gearing up to release a second Mario Kart Wii bundle in Europe.

There's been a Wii bundle including Mario Kart Wii and a Wii Wheel for quite some time now, but Nintendo is gearing up to release a second Mario Kart Wii bundle in Europe.

This new bundle, naturally, has a few differences from the existing one. The included hardware will be black, while the old bundle included a white system and controllers. The included black Wii is similar to the white Wii bundled with New Super Mario Bros. Wii in North America, in that it "adds" the ability to lay the console on its side, as opposed to standing it vertically. Of course, most existing Wii owners probably realize they've been able to do that since launch. What this really means is the new model removes the ability to stand the console on its side. The new Wii model also adds a lack of GameCube support, meaning it doesn't play GameCube games or, more importantly, support GameCube controllers.

No price has been announced yet, but if it follows the trend set by recent similar Wii bundles, expect to be paying the same price for the newly added removal of features.
