Lonely Mountains: Downhill, a game that's all about riding a mountain bike through peaceful but sometimes treacherous mountain environments, is coming to PC in 2019. Today, developer Megagon Industries revealed that it will also appear on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Thunderfall, a company founded by Image & Form and Zoink Games, will serve as the game's publisher effective immediately. It will also handle the porting work.

"After our successful Kickstarter last October we were all set to develop the PC version," notes a press release devoted to the grand reveal. "However many people also requested a console version and we have to agree that it seems a natural fit for Lonely Mountains. With Thunderful taking care of porting the game and PR/marketing we now have more time to focus on the development and making our steadily growing mountains as much fun as possible for next year's release."

The announcement comes just ahead of PAX West, which might suggest the developer will also be in attendance. That's not the case, however. The game's publisher will instead host an Autumn Mountain demo at its booth, #6003 on level 6. You can play the game from Friday through Monday.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill will focus on "responsive and fun controls," and features open level design that depicts "untouched nature" in low-polygon form. The game has been in development since 2015 and received a Kickstarter infusion in November of last year. It is supported also by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

If you get a chance, check out the game at PAX West. And if you can't attend, you can at least still check out the new trailer, embedded above for your convenience. Are you ready for a race down the mountain?
