The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series - The Complete First Season, which first became available on PlayStation 4 a number of years ago, is now available for download on Nintendo Switch, developer and publisher Telltale Games announced today.

Based on the series by Robert Kirkman, the series of episodic games tells the story of Lee and Clementine, a criminal and his mostly defenseless young charge as they struggle to survive in a landscape overrun by flesh-eating zombies and people who aren't necessarily much better.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series has now sold more than 50 million episodes worldwide, according to its publisher, and has been recognized with "Game of the Year" awards from numerous outlets during that time.

The Complete First Season includes the five episodes that made up the first season, along with add-on anthology 400 Days. The episodes have been ported from The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which released last year and offered "substantial visual and performance enhancements" compared to previous releases.

For $24.99 USD or its approximate equivalent, you can download all of that goodness, provided you live in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, or most parts of Europe. Understanding the audio is another matter, since it was recorded in English, but there are subtitles in French, German, Spanish, Italian and English.

Today's announcement also included a reminder that The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier have been announced for Nintendo Switch. Also, the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season is currently available in North America and Europe. So basically, Telltale has you covered if you like zombies and Robert Kirkman.
