Super Neptunia RPG targets a Spring 2019 release window in North America

In the game industry today, three-dimensional RPGs are all the rage. The classic worlds we enjoyed in the olden days have been taken over by polygons. But there once was a time when two dimensions were enough, and that's a time Bombyx Mori misses.
Who or what is Bombyx Mori? It's an organization that forces the citizens of one particular fantasy world to churn out two-dimensional games as offerings to their leader. Those who fail to meet that demand are banished to the Trial Grounds.
Neptune, hero of a number of three-dimensional games in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise, has arrived in this world with a severe case of amnesia. So she sets out on an adventure to find whether there is more to life than just the two dimensions. That adventure is the basis for Super Neptunia RPG, a new adventure coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Developed by Artisan Studios, a development house working out of Canada, Super Neptunia RPG features gorgeous hand-drawn artwork supplied by Tsunako, the long-time illustrator of the series. So it will look familiar but plays differently as everything adjusts to the side-scrolling approach.
Players will adventure with four party members. Attack styles change based on which character is designated leader, and there will be plenty of teamwork and transformation, just like you have come to expect from the main Hyperdimension Neptunia series.
Super Neptunia RPG will reach the designated platforms in Spring of 2019. Check the trailer above to see the game in action, then set aside some time a half-year or so from now so you can save Gameindustri once again.
