Vergil playable in DmC DLC

DmC: Devil May Cry image

Or is that "DlC"?

Everyone loves Vergil, right? Even rebooted Virgil? Capcom is counting on that with their newly announced DLC for DmC, the Devil May Cry reboot.

The "Virgil's Downfall" DLC will be available shortly after launch. Those who pre-ordered the game will receive a free download code for the DLC on their platform of choice. Those who don't pre-order will have to lay down $9.00 or 720 Microsoft Smackers.

The DLC will feature Vergil as a playable character, along with new weapons, locations, and enemies. DmC itself launches January 15th in North America and Europe.

As a side note, Capcom has made sure to point out that "DLC" in this case stands for "Downloadable Content" and not "Disc Locked Content," because some people care a LOT about the distinction.
