Dead Island: Riptide Character Unveiled

Dead Island: Riptide image

Mr. John Morgan is very "hands-on."

Riptide is a Dead Island spin-off set to debut in April of next year on the 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Inspired by a popular fan mod entitled "Fist of The Dead Star," John Morgan is clearly a no nonsense kind of guy considering his weapon of choice is a knuckle sandwich.

The terrifying bit? I used "knuckle sandwich" in a sentence.

"So one thing we really like about our community is that they did so many crazy mods for Dead Island on PC. One of the mods was an awesome Fist of the North Star thing and a dude made a hilarious video out of it," a representative told Joystiq.

Although importing your character from the first game is an option, the party system will still cater to four players. For better or for worse, the zombie craze is eternal.
