Grand Theft Auto III launches on PlayStation Network tomorrow

PlayStation fans can stop hissing at the touch screen crowd.

Initially, there were some complications, but Grand Theft Auto III is finally headed to the PlayStation Network tomorrow, according to the PlayStation Blog. An "unforeseen" issue had delayed its original release date, which was scheduled for late July.

The 3D, open-world adventure that revolutionized gaming as we know it was already available digitally -- but only on iOS and Android devices.

As initially reported, the game won't be an HD remake, and trophy support will not be, well, supported. Still, though, having this Rockstar classic at your digital disposal will be pretty neat, even if only for a quick nostalgic trip.
