CastleMiner Z Sells Over 1 Million Units

Over 1 Million People Fighting Zombies Together, Alone.

Today, DigitalDNA announced that they are the first developers to sell over 1 million copies of their game as an Xbox Live Indie title. If you enjoy Minecraft, own an Xbox 360, and you love co-op, zombies, and survival horror, you have probably heard of CastleMiner Z. This game takes the block-like world of Minecraft and an ever-changing environment, then pits you against hordes of zombies.

DigitalDNA Games has produced numerous games on the Indie Games side of Xbox Live's digital store. Each of those games sold well, but 3 of them are currently at the top of the sales charts: CastleMiner Z, CastleMiner, and Avatar Laser Wars 2.

Over at Greenlight, DigitalDNA Games is currently secure enough interest to allow for the release of a Steam version of CastleMiner Z. The game is currently available on the Xbox Live Arcade Indie Store for 80 points.
