Borderlands 2 in PSN Store at launch

Borderlands 2 image

Welcome to the digital future.

Hey, bro, how big is your hard drive? Is there enough room on there for Borderlands 2? Because that's going to be an option at launch.

Sony has announced that the digital version will get a PSN release on the same day as the retail release, which is September 21st. In fact, the game is already up for pre-order on the European PSN Store.

So why buy the digital version of the game? Well, you can (probably) hold your own mini midnight launch without leaving your home. Multiplayer games are also really handy to keep in your system permanently. Also, if you have PlayStation+, you already have Borderlands 1 on there and it needs a friend.
