Hiroshi Iuchi of Ikaruga Fame to Release 3DS Shooter - Kokuga with Local Multiplayer
May import a 3DS so I can relive the horrors of my first playthrough of Ikaruga...
On September 27th, Japanese developer G.Rev will release their newest shooter - Kokuga for the Nintendo 3DS. Designed by Ikaruga creator Hiroshi Iuchi, this game features a card system for players to use as they need (up to 20 each level). In addition, the game seems to have an open world type system, allowing players to play through different levels in pursuit of 3 differing goals.

The game will release for approximately ¥5,040 (around $60). It has solo mode in addition to local multiplayer co-op of up to 3 additional players.
