Archaeological Action Game - La-Mulana Finally Headed to the Wii

Three years doesn't seem so long once you get what you wanted.

For Metroidvania fans, the freeware PC game La-Mulana is actually headed to Wiiware.

Honestgamers reported in early 2012 that the North-American Wii release of La-Mulana was cancelled. However, a recent press release from Nigoro states that the game will actually be released on September 20th, 2012.

La-Mulana is a metroidvania style action game influenced by an MSX game called Maze of Galious. Nigoro is a 3-man group of Japanese indie-game developers that has released a variety of retro looking games for PC. You can find more info on their games at http://nigoro.jp/en/.

Yay! The cancellation saddened me, so hearing that it's back on brightened my day a little.
