Jak and Daxter, Cole McGrath added to PlayStation All-Stars roster

And the character list expands to 12.

Here's some good news: that lackluster PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale roster we discussed a few weeks back? It's being bolstered by the addition of Cole McGrath from Sucker Punch's inFamous series and Jak and Daxter from, well, the Jak and Daxter series, according to a PlayStation Blog post, where both characters' reveal trailers can be seen.

Jak and Daxter will be equipped with weapons fans of the series will immediately recognize, like the Needle Lazer, Gyro Burster and Mass Inverter. Aside from the guns, Daxter provides some melee attack support, while Jak has the ability to transform into Dark Jak and Light Jak.

As for McGrath, he, of course, is equipped with his electricity powers, allowing him to do damage to opponents up close and from afar.

Developer SuperBot Entertainment said they still have some things to reveal before the brawler's Oct. 23 release date, so it is quite possible we haven't seen the final roster just yet. And I must say, the addition of these two first party characters for Sony make the roster look a lot better, though that might not be saying much.
