Gears of War: Judgement emerges March 19

All aboard the Cole Train next March.

Mark those calendars, folks: You'll be boarding the "Cole Train" on March 19, 2013, the day Gears of War: Judgement will land on store shelves, as announced at San Diego Comic-Con today via, uh, a super Gears fan's tattoo, according to Joystiq.

A much vaguer "March 2013" was offered to X-Play earlier in the day by Rod Fergusson, Epic Games' director of production, but he refused to give the exact date -- that is, until Epic revealed it by way of body art.

Judgement is a Gears prequel starring Baird and Augustus "Cole Train" Cole as they take on the Locust in the days just after Emergence Day. As we learned in Game Informer's July issue, It's being developed by People Can Fly, the folks behind 2009's Bulletstorm, in conjunction with Epic.
