Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gets missing Vita DLC coming tomorrow
You might've noticed something missing in your Vita copy of UMVC3...
Brother, I feel your pain. I too got a chance to check out Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on the recently released PlayStation Vita this past weekend. At the character select screen, my eyes darted all around, searching for Jill Valentine -- then Shuma-Gorath. I sighed; they were nowhere to be found. Neither were the promised costumes for Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Chris, Dante and Ryu.
That's Capcom's bad, and the publisher will be correcting it when the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow (Feb. 28).
"We ... discovered some last minute issues associating the content with UMVC3 Vita and making sure it would share properly between your PS3 and PS Vita," wrote Capcom's Mike Lunn on the Capcom Unity blog. "Since these DLC packs originally were associated with the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PS3, we needed to make sure that all the content would both function and share properly between whatever version you might be playing on.
"Everything has been addressed..."
So no need to fear, folks: You'll get what you paid for tomorrow. Be on the lookout for the update.
