News > The good news: newb gamers get a second chance at old-skool magicary

Taito seem to like to keep in the news right now. Not only are they being eyed up by Square, but their European offices are getting ready to unleash some classic gameing onto the next-gen consoles.

Just listen to some of the hit-list games on offer: Rainbow Islands, Bubble-Bobble, New Zealand Story, Pop 'n Pop, Darius Gaiden, Rastan and Great Swordsman just to name a few!

Hopeless newbs like HG's own Boo will also be flabbergasted to hear that not only is light-gun godfather Operation Wolf on the disk, but so is its twin-uzi'd sequel, Operation Thunderbolt. The creditable compilation is set to hit UK stores in September, with no word on a US release as of yet.
