News > Namco announces Atomic Betty Namco yesterday snuck out an announcement confirming what we have all suspected: the company has its figurative hands on yet another cartoon-based project. This time, the project is Atomic Betty and the developer is Breakthrough New Media (with a bit of assistance from Big Blue Bubble.

Atomic Betty is an adventure game with puzzle-solving elements that allows players to control the three fabulous heroes as they work to save the universe. Though the ESRB has not officially weighed in with a rating, Namco figures an 'E' rating is the most likely.

"Atomic Betty rockets kids into the action-packed world from the hit cartoon series and lets them be the hero," said Jeff Lujan, Business Director, Namco Hometek. "Young players will be able to experience a new style of game play with Atomic Betty's easy-to-use three character control scheme. Playing as a team adds strategic depth to the game that kids will love, and allows fans to take control of all their favorite characters."

November is a long time away, but we'll try and keep your hunger for Atomic Betty sated in the meantime, just as soon as more news trickles in from Namco. Boop, boop, boopety-- er, wrong Betty.
