Title: games purchased this year so far.... Posted: March 16, 2009 (12:40 AM)
DJ Max Fever - PSP $39.99 Legacy of Y's - DS $34.99 Street Fighter IV - PS3 $59.99 Deadly Creatures - WII $49.99 MadWorld - WII $49.99 Silent Hill 2 - PS2 used $14.99(the buy 2 get 1 free deal) Mana Khemia 1 - PS2 used $17.99(that was going on at...) Luminous Arc - DS used $19.99(GameStop this weekend..) Ocarina of Time Collector's Edition - N64(from ebay. the game found it's way back into my collection again $40) Policenauts - 3D0 (from ebay in good condition $19, probably the only 3D0 game i will ever buy!) Legend of Zelda 1 - FAMICOM DISK SYSTEM (brand new unopened $30) Metroid - FAMICOM DISK SYSTEM (brand new unopened $26) Snatcher - PC ENGINE (ebay for $35 complete, should be coming in soon)
wish i had a pc engine, famicom disk or 3DO to play it on, but the Japanese packaging is interesting enough to hold my interest as is, especially the famicom disk games. i don't know if japanese games these days still provide sticker sheets but i thought it was neat to find them inside the instruction manual of the famicom disk games. the instruction manual is like a mini-booklet that has that rough paper quality and not like the flimsy and easily bent NES booklets. lastly the yellow hard floppy disk with big plain obtrusive NINTENDO etched at the bottom of the disk to me is an oddity. why can't americans get meticulous packaging like the japanese...and why do the majority of american gamers treat their games like shit?
anyway what games have YOU bought this year?

I've only bought Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy. I haven't bought any Xbox 360 games since my system broke two days before Christmas last year. TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
