been keeping my psp busy lately ever since i bought my 1 gig stick a week ago and shortly after that, the news that homebrew now works for firmware 2.6 using the GTA:LCS save slot. so i've been watching alot of movies and playing snes games on it in abscence of any really worthwhile PSP games!
oh i also picked up Gitaroo Man, Clock Tower 3, Ridge Racer 5 and Wild Arms 4 for my PS2 the other day. hopefully i'll get to play them..

ah i've been reworking that entire first paragraph chiseling away the clutter and adding more and so on. anyway, i'll keep that under wraps for now until i'm ready to submit. meanwhile i'd like some more feedback on what i've made available so far. i've spent several hours already on that paragraph alone and who knows how many hours i spent sitting there just thinking. i wonder how long it takes you guys to plan and write reviews.
i need a damn shower.
Title: Rough Draft Intro For Super Mario Bros. ideas.

here's a brief snippet of how my 1st HG review is coming along so far..
''Back in the day when the only star Mario ever needed to collect was the one that granted him limited invincibility instead of the useless stars he had to go treasure hunting for in Super Mario 64 and before Mario had a sorry excuse of a talking water tank strapped to his back to fight the baddies with in Super Mario Sunshine, there was Mario's original sidekick and other less famous brother--Luigi. Although they never fought alongside each other, together they took it straight to their enemies' faces by the most simplest and effective means as they stomped, kicked and fireballed their way to save Princess Toadstool from the clutches of a lecherous lizard king of the Koopas--Bowser.''
''Super Mario Bros. still amazes me to this day not because of the myriad accomplishments it once achieved or the heap of endless praises it always recieves, but the smooth gameplay and lavish attention to detail in the game design that is at once -- accessible, immaculate, polished and pristine! It's no wonder Super Mario Bros. is still a joy to play even twenty years later after it's release.''
1/24/06 6:50 p.m. - i did a slight edit on the 1st paragraph as follows(will continue where i left off tonight!):
Back in the day when the only star Mario ever needed or mattered, in fact, was the one that granted him limited invincibility instead of the useless stars he had to go scouring all over for in Super Mario 64 and before Mario had a sorry excuse of a talking water tank strapped to his back to fight baddies with in Super Mario Sunshine, there was Mario's original sidekick and other less famous brother, Luigi. Although they never fought alongside each other, together they took it straight to their enemies' faces by the most simplest and effective means as they stomped, kicked, and fireballed their way to save Princess Toadstool from the clutches of a lecherous lizard named Bowser, King of the Koopas. This was Super Mario Bros. at it's rawest and purest. -or- These were the glory days of Super Mario Bros.
any critiques would be nice. thanks!

I've been wanting to write reviews for HonestGamers for a long time. It just seems whenever I start writing a paragraph or two I end up scrapping it. I think lack of confidence/focus in my writing skills or when I write is the biggest culprit. That, and all the games I want to finish up during my spare time(when I don't have as much free time like I used to) so I usually don't make time to write reviews. although lately i have this urge to rectify that. there are several games I have in mind already and I feel like writing them all simultaneously, but that would be too much for me. but anyway, i'm thinking of writing a review for:
Super Mario Bros.
Shadow of the Colossus
The Lgend of Zelda: OoT
Metal gear Solid 3
Dragon Quest VIII(even though I haven't beaten that game yet but feel like I could write a few paragraphs about the game already. i think it's wise for me to finish the game first.)
speaking of which, i'm at level 19 and am at Trodain Castle, 20 hours into the game. geez, i still have awhile to go...
