honestgamer - July 14, 2011 (12:22 PM) I bought Suikoden II new at Wal-Mart for $30 and sold it used for $110 a couple of years back to keep a roof over my head. It was a tidy little bit of profit. I also sold Final Fantasy VII and Valkyrie Profile around that time. I miss them all, naturally, but I live in Newport and you do what you can to keep the rain off your head. |

jerec - July 14, 2011 (03:27 PM) Some of my N64 games I owned back in 2000/2001. I wasn't working much back then and pretty much had to rely on trade ins to get the new games I wanted. And some of what I had would have gotten me a better return. But mostly all the stuff I've sold has been at a good time. I got ridiculous money for my copies of FF7, FF8 and FF9... and then just bought them over PSN for a fraction of that price. Same thing with a lot of my Nintendo games. |

JoeTheDestroyer - July 14, 2011 (06:07 PM) The only game I ever profited from was Legends of Wrestling for PS2. Bought it for $9.50 (no tax since I bought it on an air force base exchange) and sold it for $12. Not a huge profit, but given that the game was mediocre and dull, I'd say it was a helluva move. |

zippdementia - July 14, 2011 (07:58 PM) I profited from three games. Xenogears I bought from amazon for 10 bucks used and just sold it back to them for a $40 gift certificate (which I promptly spent on a rice cooker). I had a similar deal with Saga Frontier, and again with Legends of Mana. |
