iamtheprodigy Hi there. I write reviews. Incredibly rarely. Thanks, and good day.

Title: Is it time?
Posted: January 29, 2009 (04:23 PM)
I'm sure you've all been on the edges of your seats, and I'm proud to report that I've just written an introductory paragraph to my first review in... well, a while.

Uh, yeah. >_>

Title: Attention, dearest mentor Suskie
Posted: August 26, 2008 (09:37 AM)
Will you halp me please? I haven't seen you on AIM lately and I require your assistance, if you're still providing it like you used to. And yes I'm talking about in bed. With this review I'm trying to write that sucks. I need my mentor back!

Title: Hmm...
Posted: July 27, 2008 (09:31 AM)
See, before my problem was I didn't play any games at all. Now my problem is I'm playing too many at once. Or maybe I'm just making more excuses for myself. Maybe there will always be a reason for me to not write. Maybe, just maybe... >_>

Title: I've still accomplished nothing

Perhaps after I complete Mass Effect.....

Title: Heh, still working on that.
Posted: June 29, 2008 (07:21 AM)
And when I say "working on it" I mean "working on getting the energy to work on it".

And on further consideration, that "sports game" might be a complete lie. But once again, I'm not sure. It's so secretive and exciting, even I don't know!

Title: I'm going to write a review. Oh yes.
Posted: May 29, 2008 (02:12 PM)
Yes, that's right ladiemen and gentlemen, I plan on actually writing a real review about a videogame some time in the near future. This is exciting for not just me, but for all of America and the world, since it's my first one since September. Never mind the fact that the review will probably suck. Never mind the fact that my old reviews barely skirted the line of mediocrity at best. This, boys and girls, will be epic. EPIC.

Or it'll just be an unexciting review about a sports game. I haven't decided yet what it will be.

Title: I miss review-writing...
Posted: February 26, 2008 (08:06 PM)
I really need to get back into the swing of writing reviews. I haven't written a new one in months.

School's just been keeping me busy as hell lately, as is my musical obligations (jazz band, regional band, all state band, etc...).

Also plagued lately with lack of money, which isn't surprising since I don't have a job yet (which I really need to actually get now, it can be avoided no longer). I really want to upgrade my crappy drumset from the 60s (yeah, 60s, for serious).

So yeah. If anyone wondered where I was... that's where. Hopefully I'll be able to write a review soon... there's a few games I've played lately.

Being busy sucks, I can't write any reviews. Maybe after marching band season is over... (one more competition)

Title: A toilet. Figuratively, of course.
Posted: October 10, 2007 (06:44 PM)
Today GameFAQs inhaled over 80 crappy reviews from a single crappy reviewer notorious for his crappy reviews.

I'd say GameFAQs was a toilet for bad reviewers to poop on, but that's not accurate enough. It's more like an airplane's toilet, because it sucks the crap right in and then spews it on all the innocent readers looking for a half-way-decent review.

Title: Review
Posted: September 26, 2007 (04:40 AM)
My latest review is a stepping stone for me, as I've honestly never really reviewed anything current before. I've always reviewed retro-type games, and now I'm transitioning to reviewing current games as well. It's a little different but not bad.

At the same time, I'm trying to improve my writing as much as possible. Espiga and Suskie have been helping me out quite a bit with this, but anyone else willing to to do a critique or just to give me some general tips, I'd be glad to listen. :)

Title: Today's purchases,
Posted: September 13, 2007 (02:51 PM)
Today I picked up Pokemon: Pearl Version and Super Mario 64 DS. I only played SM64DS briefly, but it's awesome so far. After playing Pokemon for about an hour and establishing my team, I'm taking a break to let the DS charge. Then it's back to work.

Just step one in my DS collection. Games to get soon:

-Elite Beat Agents
-Worms: Open Warfare 2
-Both Phoenix Wright games
-much much more (remind me of stuff I'm forgetting/should have on here)

Title: DS!!!
Posted: September 06, 2007 (07:24 PM)
My DS arrived today along with my copy of Brain Age 2. I'm so excited. I can't wait until I can start buying a bunch of games for this baby... I haven't actually bought a new system in quite some time so this is a big deal for me. :)

Title: I'm not reviewing anything right now.
Posted: September 03, 2007 (09:21 AM)
Nope. Not until I get my DS. I need a break from reviewing old games - it's what I've been doing all my life. (due to me wasting money on bad movies and food and such)

Anyway, I should hopefully be able to scrape together the cash to order a DS soon (since I just won a DS game in the raffle, it would be nice to at least have a system to play it on). At which point in time I will hopefully be able to steal some games to play or something. >_>

Oh, and school starts the tenth, but then I have a four-day weekend that first week. o_o Cool.

Title: No breakdancing allowed in this entry.
Posted: August 26, 2007 (08:59 AM)
To prove my being back, I have posted my first review upon my return. Comments: Opinions on review? Yes, please. Breakdancing? Hell no, take it to someone else's comments.

Edit: To appease Suskie, here's a link. In fact, here's several links so that he can click the one that's closest to his mouse. Wouldn't want him to work too hard for it: Earthworm Jim

Click me, Suskie, click me!

No, Suskie, clearly I am the superior link

Don't listen to them, Suskie, I'm the one you want to click, trust me

Edit²: I posted up another review today as well, but didn't feel like making a whole new blog post for it. So here it is, enjoy: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
