It's not all an elaborate ruse, some misguided attempt to establish for myself an online persona of dubious quality. I really am dull. If you don't find that unbearable, though, this is my blog that examines just how truly boring I can be.

The more I get ahead, the more I fall behind... or something like that.
Tonight, bluberry exploited a security hole that has been around since the dawn of the database-driven site, and tonight I fixed it. Bluberry, not one to point out a flaw and run, helped in the effort.
The result is that I spent around two hours working on the site when I could've been playing games or something instead. Anyway, it's now a lot more secure, meaning people can't just get tricky with some key files and access your account info (or worse yet, log into the site under your name and give you a bad reputation or delete your precious content!).
All in all, it was a positive evening for the site. Maybe someday soon, I'll be able to stop tweaking things and truly focus strictly on content. *sigh*
