You'll be taking out the remaining Mavericks in this stage, so let's get started. Head up and take out the Mega Tortoise and the turrets before heading right in to the first boss battle.

It's Armored Armadillo and he's still weak to the Electric Spark so electrocute him and be on your way. Head up past some bats and miners to another Maverick.

Sting Chameleon is weak to the Boomerang Cutter, but so is this level's boss. It's pretty much impossible to waste them, though, since any time you miss, you'll get the energy you spent on the weapon back.

Besides, the next short area contains a weapon energy pickup behind a wall that you can only collect using the Boomerang Cutter, so go for it.

He's still sooooo easy with the Shotgun Ice, and he's also really easy to hadouken if you happen to have full health. Move on.

The next area is short and underwater. I wonder who we could possibly be fighting next!

Of course. Rolling Shield is his kryptonite. Remember that you can also chop off a couple of his tentacles with the Boomerang Cutter first if you want, but you really don't need to bother since he probably won't land his life draining attack.

Want the items on top of the spikes here? Charge up your Chameleon Sting to walk right over the spikes. Dash and you can make it all the way to the next area while ignoring the enemies.

It's Flame Mammoth again. He's still vulnerable to the Storm Tornado, and since he's big and heavy, he's pretty easy to hit with a hadouken, too.

That's the last of them. Just one more boss until this stage is over.

D-Rex

D-Rex is intimidating. He takes up a ton of space, moves relatively quickly for something its size, splits in two and can attack you with both halves at once. The top half is the only one you can damage. He'll ram into the wall to knock you down from it so don't rely on it. Only use the walls to quickly launch yourself off to a good spot to launch a shot at his head. He moves erratically but each half only moves in a straight line at any given time, so it's possible to predict where it will end up. He speeds up after he takes a certain amount of damage. He's weak to the Boomerang Cutter so have that ready. After he's down, the level is over.

What's Next?

There's a spot to refill your energy tanks in the next level, so you don't have to do them now if you don't want to. Let's go. Sigma awaits.
