Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Royal Road - Stage 8 EX

When you clear Royal Road's seventh stage, a path will appear to this eighth and final stage.

Float up the vertical area and you'll find a vortex, which you should enter. It leads to a series of gem-shaped ledges. Proceed to the right and you'll soon find a sprout that turns into a vine yielding Miracle Fruit. Scarf that down and continue right.

Now you will be attacked by four dragons carrying heavy shields. You have fought these guys previously, so the fight should be easy. Just let them circle you and when one drops its shields, use Hypernova to suck in the boulder that it fires. Then fire the boulder back at the dragon as it circles around. Repeat the process as they dragons move with increasing speed as each of their fellows fall. Remember to watch out for flames that the final one will spew. When you defeat the last of the dragons, a vortex will appear. Pass through it.

The vortex leads to more gem-shaped ledges. As you proceed right, a stone tower will rise. You have battled this monstrosity in the past, as well. Just absorb its shots, then fire them back to knock out the wooden columns until the tower collapses and leaves behind a vortex. Pass through it.

Immediately, you'll appear in the middle of another battle. This time, you're battling the ghost who likes to fly around between pieces of the furniture. Just suck up each piece of furniture and avoid the attacks that the ghost levels at you while it rides around in the piano. When you suck up the ghost, yet another vortex appears.

Next you appear on a ledge in front of a giant eel. Head quickly left and drop down, then face right and use Hypernova to suck at the bottom eel until you pull it loose from its pipe. Pass through and hit the bomb block on the other end, which produces some blocks in the background. Return to the background and climb up the blocks, then use Hypernova on the upper eel. When it is gone, head right through its pipe to reach a vortex, but carefully pass around it without entering. Float down and look left to find a pipe you can pass through. You'll appear in the background, near a Keychain and… another Keychain. That's quite welcome. Grab them, then head back up and proceed through the vortex.

You'll now find yourself in a cloudy area with a large block to your right. Use Hypernova to suck it left so that it falls down a shaft and creates an opening. Descend after the block and then you can pull it either left or right. The left route is probably safer, since it contains stars and the right side has enemies. When you reach the lower portion of this area, you'll find another vortex through which you should pass.

In the new chamber, you'll battle some giant birds. Start by hopping to the right side of the large parsnip and wait for the bird to descend along the right side of the screen. Now use Hypernova and suck the parsnip out of the soil. It flies in an arc and hits the bird. Another parsnip appears, to hop to its left side and face right. Suck the parsnip out of the ground as the bird floats overhead, and now you have just one left. Take out the third bird to make a vortex appear, but don't pass through it yet. Float down along the right side of the gem-built platform and collect a Keychain. Then go ahead and enter the offered vortex.

As you might have anticipated, your next opponent is the oversized gopher you fought near the very beginning of the game. He attacks in much the same way, except he starts by hurling a blazing, spiked ball at you. Float over that, then get down to the business of inhaling the next block he preps. Fire it back at the gopher when he presents his real self (not the cardboard cutout) and that's it. There are no second and third gophers. You'll immediately cause a 3D Warpstar to appear, and you can't ride it into the background to access a vortex.

From where you appear, head right and you'll find a blue star attached to tapestry. Pull it left using Hypernova until it clicks in place in a star holder. Then head left and pull a switch to produce a bridge. Now bring the curtain further left until it clicks in place again. Head right and look at the tapestry to witness the evolution of the Kirby design. On the far right side, there's a Sun Stone just ahead of a goal door.

Before you enter the goal door, look just along its upper right side. In the grayscale background, there is a crescent moon. Float in front of it and press the Up button to enter a secret hidden area. Descend along that area and grab fruit and extra lives as you do. Along the way, you'll fall through and collect the Rare Keychain: Taranza. At the base, you can find a Keychain to the left and a Keychain to the right of a new goal door. Pass through that goal door to finish the stage.

If you have been following this guide and doing everything in order, the Sun Stone you gathered was number 100. When you finish the stage, you'll be informed that you have found all of the Sun Stones in Floralia, and as a reward you will receive the Rare Keychain: Queen Sectonia.
