Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Endless Explosions - Stage 1

Work your way right through the introductory area, minding the Beetle enemies that rush you along the way. There also are a few molten blocks in the foreground. Unlike the yellow ones, you can't step on these without taking damage. Simply float over them, and watch out for the huge lava orbs that rain down on you after being spewed by volcanoes in the background.

After going through the door positioned along the right side of that first area, you'll appear along a ledge with a cradle just to the right. Hop in it and tilt your handheld to slide along the bar leading right. You need to rapidly descend through this area, moving at a good clip as the cradle transfers from one bar to the next. Your destination is near the lower left side of the area, where a Key rests on a ledge. You need to reach the key without the cradle falling off a bar and hitting lava walls. Then you can grab the Key, hop in the cradle and slide right to find a gate the Key will open. Through that gate is an invincibility lollipop, but pass it and float up the shaft just to the right to find a Sun Stone. Then you can descend, grab the lollipop, and rush down to the door you can reach below (by dropping through a ledge that was positioned ahead of the gate you opened).

After passing through that door, run through the next area and keep going past a Waddle Dee that throws an Assist Star. If you move fast enough, you can reach the Mini-Boss with the invincibility effect still in place, then run back and forth and quickly eliminate his life meter before he can attack, all without any fear of taking damage.

Mini-Boss: Mr. Frosty

You have battled this guy before, but if you use the technique outlined above, you won't have to battle him now. Just run back and forth with invincibility in effect and your foe will quickly surrender. Otherwise, if you're fighting him fair and square, you'll just have to fire his ice blocks back at him and avoid his predictable attack patterns. It's an easy fight either way.

After you defeat your adversary, gulp him down for the Ice ability, then head into the next area and move toward the right. Here, there are more molten blocks, along with fireballs that rain down from the volcanoes overhead. Avoid those, and the enemies that run along the area, and work your way to the far right to find a set of blocks that prevent you from accessing a doorway. You can use the Ice ability you gained from the mini-boss to freeze those and pass through, then enter the door.

Inside that room, float up and so that you can advance to the right without touching the lower layer of molten blocks. You can freeze them, but then if you step on them they fall quickly away. It's better to just avoid them and float up to the ledge to the upper right, then face left and freeze the blocks on which the treasure chest rests. It'll drop down, but you can follow it and open it for the Sun Stone it contains.

When you exit the door, float up to the ledge and note the door to the right. Just beyond it, there's a block you can break apart for a Keychain. Grab that loot, then enter the door to arrive at a room with a Wheel enemy rolling back and forth. Gulp it down, then drop through the ledge and descend the shaft. As you do, you'll see an enemy in the background that is carrying a Key. You have to race it down the shaft, using your Wheel ability, to arrive at a 3D Warpstar at the base. Ride it into the background and defeat the enemy so that you can grab the key and enter a locked doorway to the right.

Through that locked door, you'll find a Sun Stone in a chest just to the right. Now, before you pass back through the door that you just entered, float up and to the left. You can destroy a crumbling wall in that direction, then pass through and continue left along the backdrop. Past several volcanoes, to the very far left side of the area, you'll find two 1up dolls and the Rare Keychain: Skullord. Then you can hop in a cannon and ride to a new area with weak blocks.

Float to the upper right in that new area, avoiding enemy attacks, and you'll find a 3D Warpstar. Ride it to the background and head past another volcano. Just beyond that, you can kick a bomb block to blow away a block wall and reveal the area goal door.
