We're finally at the final page, and it's a tough one. Roadkill is directly below you here if you don't have him already. Beware the mines in the water. Use the rope to pass over them. Drop down to pick up the two mystery items between the mines if you're feeling bold, and you'll reach your first branching path. The branches are just a tiny bit more complicated in this page than they have been, but the lower path is easier than the right path.
Head right and destroy the side of the ship. There's two Crawlers for you to kick to death inside. There's also an iced tea hidden in there that's easy to miss. Styx and Strigil will appear and you'll have to beat them before you move on.
Three cocoons, exactly like page 2 of Episode 1. Take them out and move on.
Hey, it's Gravis. We haven't seen him in a while. This part is tricky. That door will take a lot of damage before it breaks, and the sphere you see moving back and forth is a mine. Use the switch on the right side to control the crane that's carrying the mine. Flip it to release the mine. Time it right so that it lands between Gravis and the door, then knock Gravis into it to detonate it and blow up all three obstacles in your path. If you fail to detonate the mine using Gravis, you can detonate it with an item. If you don't have anything handy, shoulder smash the door until it breaks. You won't be able to safely detonate the mine with your bare hands. (Pick it up with the crane if it's in the way.)
Nothing here but a couple of crates. Destroy the safe crate to find an iced tea inside. From here, you have a rare opportunity to go back to the road not taken. Head left to continue to the panels only accessible from here, or head right to head to the second panel that the right path above would have eventually brought you to. Scroll back up to the second paragraph in the "Right Path" section if you choose to go that way. Otherwise, go left and keep reading.
Here's a room with a ton of Crawlers and you'll have to kill them ALL. They come out of the hole in the floor. Resist the urge to knock them back into the hole, because even though they'll die, for some reason they won't count towards the 10 you need to kill to move on. Also don't fall into the hole yourself until you see the arrow appear. It'll kill you before then.
Here's a puzzle for you. The switch on the left will start the piston down below. Throw the switch to use the piston to kill the Crawler, then turn it off again. See the crane here with the mine? Punch it a few times to drop the mine without destroying it. Be careful, even if you don't blow up the mine, the crane can do a lot of damage to you just by touching you. Don't jump at it. Once the mine is on the floor, hop down and push it over to the piston, then turn the piston on to send it flying towards the door.
There's a mine in the centre, a crane moving along the ceiling, and a switch on the far side. Carefully jump between the crane and the mine to the switch, then flip it to have the crane grab the mine and clear the way to the next panel.
Bodyslam the bombs into each other to blow them up, and then fight a pair of Strigils. Easy as pie. Move on.
This piston is dangerous and you'll need to destroy it before moving on. You'll have to fight Gravis three times here, so throw him into the piston each time to damage both it and Gravis. Once they're gone, let Roadkill find a knife for you. You'll need it in the next panel. This is the only reason you've been carrying Roadkill with you on this page. Leave him behind if you want. He'll be ok on his own.
The crate has a mystery item in it. Kill the Kreep. See the switch above the door? Stand on the ledge on the right and throw the knife at the switch to open the door. Time to go face-to-face with Mortus.
Alissa will show up to do whatever it is Alissa does. Mortus doesn't like this. He could just run the comic through a paper shredder, but instead, Mortus decides to re-enter the comic to put himself within punching distance of Sketch so he can throw Alissa into the world's strangest-looking fuel tank and slowly drown her. This boss fight is time sensitive. If you want to get the good ending and 100% completion, you'll have to beat him quickly.
Mortus can teleport out of arm's reach. He'll spend a lot of time hopping from platform to platform. You can't do much damage to him with your bare hands, but he won't really damage you directly very much either. He can slide at you or hit you with his pipe but neither of those attacks are very intimidating. If you have any grenades, throw them at him. Otherwise, lure him down in front of the left thruster on the rocket, hop up to the switch on the right, and throw it repeatedly to fire the thruster and damage Mortus. Every time you do, a Kreep will come out, but you're better off just ignoring them. Mortus isn't actually that tough, since he doesn't attack you very much. The Kreeps are more dangerous than he is. The real challenge here is taking him out before Alissa drowns. Once he's dead, kill any remaining Kreeps to make a switch appear next to Alissa. Throw it to save her, or just let her drown if you're a jerk. Either way, congratulations! You've somehow managed to finish Comix Zone! I knew you could do it!
