Another episode, another fresh start, another continue filed away until you need it. Enemies will start blocking even more frequently than they did in Episode 2. This first panel is pretty straightfoward. Grab Roadkill and get ready to fight five Spawn Mutants, two at a time. Try not to be in the middle of them. They'll accidentally attack each other if you put one of them in the middle instead. Take them out and head right.
Yikes. Another Spawn Mutant will appear. Jump over it to put it between you and whatever the hell this green monster is. Push the Spawn Mutant back into that gaping maw, or just defeat it normally. Definitely don't let yourself get eaten. You can feed Roadkill to it, though! Let him go into the monster's mouth and then punch the crap out of it until it screams and dies. Grab the completely unharmed Roadkill and the TNT and head down.
Ugh. This panel is a pain. Ignore the Kreep for now. There's not enough room to effectively fight him. Jump onto the rock you see behind the mines, and then on to the next rock to the left. Drop your TNT in the space between the mines and quickly jump back to the right. You'll take a ton of damage if you touch the mines at any point, so be careful. Now you'll have to fight the Kreep and Mongoria at the same time. Resist the urge to use Roadkill. Mongoria drops an iced tea when defeated normally, and there's a hidden Super Fist for Roadkill to sniff out. You'll probably want that very soon, so pick it up and go.
Shimmy across the bar to the explosive crate and push it down one level. Then flip the switch to make a knife and a grenade drop from the ceiling. Use the crate to climb up and grab them if you want, but think hard. You're about to choose between a hard path and an easy path. Use your iced tea and pick up the knife if you want to go the hard way. Definitely hang on to Roadkill and the Super Fist either way. Push the crate down one more level and it will and on some spikes and explode, taking a Crawler out with it. There's secretly a branching path here if you send Roadkill out to find it.
Stay out of the lava. Take out the Kreep with jump kicks to make a platform appear to let you move on to the next panel. Don't forget the iced tea. The next panel introduces an annoying new enemy.
This guy is a jerk. He crawls along the ceiling, creating mines directly below him, or shooting bouncing slime globs diagonally. The globs can bounce back at him and damage him. Avoid the bouncing globs and hit him with jump kicks when he comes close. Try not to get knocked into the lava. Once he's dead, throw a knife to the right to hit a switch, or do your best to jump over the lava to reach it if you don't have a knife. If you land in the lava, hop out as quickly as possible. A platform will appear in the middle of the room. Jump onto it and press down to move on.
Oh, good, there's two more of him. Just use your Super Fist here to take them out quickly. If you don't have it, you'll just have to shimmy along the bar and kick them to death. Try to avoid the slime, then head left.
Don't stand up here. Crouch down and take out the stalagmites with sweep kicks, and then take out the Crawler the same way. Keep crouching and roll under the stalactites to the next set of stalagmites. Repeat the process to make it to the next panel and be back outside again.
A shortcut! There are two mystery items here. Take them or leave them, and head down to skip a good third of this page.
Another Pelagus. Watch out for his mines. If you took the shortcut and skipped the previous two Plegus fights, scroll up a bit for some general information about the enemy. Take him out and fight two Strigils. If there are any mines leftover, knock a Strigil into them to kill two birds with one stone. Grab the grenade here if you want it and head to the last panel on this page.
Punch the Spawn Mutant into the spiked pillar here to defeat it, then jump over the pillar. There's a mine in the ground just to the right of it, so make sure you jump past that, too. You'll land between the mine and two more pillars. One last trap before the page is over. Make sure you're not too close to the two pillars, and send Roadkill off to the left to flip the switch and lower one of the pillars, and then send him off to do it again and lower the right pillar. Make sure there's a bit of space between you and the spikes, and jump over them to the right and the end of the page. Just one more to go!
