Staff review by Gary Hartley (July 09, 2005) Bringing the sultry sorceress Celine into the fray will guarantee a veritable cornucopia of offensive magic at your disposal, whereas laid-back pharmacist Bowman will dial up the damage with well-trained fists. Each member of the cast brings something to the battlefield that is unique to only them, something that no one else can replicate, ensuring that everyone has their own niche to fill. |

Staff review by James Gordon (Date unavailable) You only control one of your characters at a time, although you can switch when you want to. Different attacks are assigned to different buttons, and you can press triangle (I think it is) to enter a menu where you can choose to use and item, or pick the tactics that you want your party members to use. |

Staff review by Rob Hamilton (April 18, 2007) I remember easily winning one of the final boss fights with ease solely because my constant attacking was preventing him from doing much of anything. It would be easy to say this all sums to a great game -- but a more accurate result would simply be to name the produ... |

Reader review by viridian_moon (July 21, 2006) The first time I played Star Ocean: The Second Story, I was duly impressed by the large number of spaceships (I quite like them) in the title screen cinematic. Intrigued, I started a game. |
