I can't copy-paste on Dreamcast so no excerpt for you. Just click the review out of pity spawned by the fact that I am, in fact, typing this review on a Dreamcast.

Aside from the soul-absorption ability, you can also pick up weapons! That's right, just like in Symphony of the Night, the main character can arm himself with swords, axes, maces, even a gun.

I think of Aria as SotN-lite - a wonderful experience, one of the best Castlevanias of all time, yet it ends far too quickly. If you’re thinking about purchasing it, you’ll have to ask yourself whether or not you’re willing to shell out 30 hard earned dollars for 8 hours of fun.

Nothing feels particularly refreshing. You've seen all the tricks before, they impressed you at the time, and now there's this overwhelming sense of deja vu. Some of the absolute coolest bosses in the game, for example, feel like they were ripped straight out of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Which makes sense, as they obviously were.

I remember when I wanted a sequel to Symphony of the Night. It seems like such a long time ago now, since there have now been THREE Castlevania games on Game Boy Advance, and they've been released in a span of about three years. You may think that the games suffered from a lack of quality due to the quick turnover rate of them, but nothing could be further from the truth.

At first I was skeptical about purchasing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. My original thoughts were one of disapointment that they would be taking my favorite series and moving it into the future. I thought it would be a diversion of the original gameplay, and I expected to see a game that was subpar in this great series. For a while my thought were even considering boycotting a Castlevania game, something I never thought my brain could process. But when the time came around, and Aria of Sorrow was...

It's an age old debate - which is the coolest: Pirates, Ninjas or Vampires?? Pirates have cool boats, and they have Johnny Depp flying their flag (so to speak), but they have terrible dress sense, and you always get the impression that they probably smell quite bad. Ninjas dress fashionably - the 'one-piece black pyjamas with matching headgear' will be next Summer's look, I tell you now, but their people skills are kinda lacking. They just aren't very talkative. And vampires? Vampires have the w...
