While the colors continued changing, I noticed something else rather distressing, though. The more lines I cleared, the faster things got. Pretty soon blocks were flying all over the place and it was simply more than I could do to keep up. I started screaming at the television and my daughter--bless her soul--came into the room to make sure I wasn't having a stroke. The screen filled up about that time and I was told my game was over.

Playing Tetris for the first time can change a gamers life forever. Squaring off against those blocks is one of the magic moments of gaming. Play the game for half an hour and you can be hooked for life. The addictiveness that Tetris contains is almost scary, it's like a drug that you just can't get enough of. Turn this game off and you'll have falling blocks imprinted onto your eyelids, once it's taken a hold of your mind it'll never let go. Tetris is one of the greatest games of all time, if n...

Once in a while, there comes an event that is so revolutionary that the world sits up and takes notice. The everyday lives of the simple minded plebeians that inhabit the world are enthralled by this event, and even some interstellar biorganism tree frogs from Alpha Centuri are intrigued. Tetris is not one of those events. However, it is a pretty fun Nintendo game.
