Staff review by Jason Venter (March 24, 2004) It turns out your marble is made out of china or something. Even a small drop will either set it to spinning (which delays your movement for a second or two) or cause it to crack (which delays you something like five seconds, in some cases). None of this would particularly matter, except the marbles have a tendency to be reluctant about directional changes.

Reader review by mariner (February 03, 2005) Super Monkey Ball was quite the hit at Gamecube's launch. Sega made a great sleeper hit that has become one of the many well loved games this generation. But do all of the Monkey lovers out there know that this game is not a new concept, but is roughly based on an old game that happened to make its way to the NES? Reader review by retro (November 01, 2003) Playing marbles is something I'd never done before. I used to have a lot of those little glass marbles with exotic colorful patterns inside them, but dust mites paid more attention to them than I did. That is, until I decided to get Marble Madness. I never knew playing marbles was so fun or I would've been playing them all my life.
