Staff review by Jason Venter (November 12, 2009) As I ran through the buildings of a bombed out city, I saw one of my comrades fallen and lying in the field. As explosions rattled the structure around us, another soldier lifted the wounded man's body by the arms and began to drag him toward safety... until another bullet cut the hero down mid-stride. It was a set of events that I didn't have to watch. There was no cumbersome cutscene, no prerecorded dialog. It was just one of many such moments so typical of that level and many others, a moment made memorable precisely because no undue attention was called to it.

Staff review by Rob Hamilton (May 23, 2010) The designers succeeded in creating a strong sense of chaos throughout the campaign where it seemed that calamity was waiting around every corner. Maybe I was skulking through the back alleys of a South American city to capture someone with information I needed while fighting off that guy's personal militia. Or storming a governmental building in order to retake it from enemy forces. Or defending my position inside a house from wave after wave of soldiers. It seemed like I was nearly always under siege from multiple angles.

Reader review by RecentElectronics (December 08, 2009) I don't claim to be a wizard with all types of armaments known to man. I don’t claim to have a vast knowledge of how combat tactics work either. That being said, I do understand numbers, human error, and other things of that nature. I bring this up because Modern Warfare seems to have a grasp on how numbers 1 and 2; it falls flat on its face with number 3.
