Overjoyed, the anxious two set their explosives, planning to blast free their latest find, but instead of the deceased fossil they expected, out pops a rather lively baby dragon.

Staff review by James Gordon (Date unavailable) I never expected BOF3 to satisfy me this much. After playing the game, I'm willing to place it in my top 10 RPG's of all time, just because I love the atmosphere, the way it's presented, the characters, and almost everything about it. It may not meet some gamers' expectations, but I just love how it all falls together.

He can also transform into a rather non-threatening baby dragon, and later on into powerful ones by crossing dragon genes found through the game. He's woken up in a mine shaft, and after escaping he teams up with Rei and Teepo, a couple forest-dwelling ruffians who get into all kinds of mischief. From unforgettable legends such as Final Fantasy 3/6 and Chrono Trigger to more mundane offerings such as the slow-paced initial Lufia game and the confusing action RPG known as Brandish.

Reader review by psychopenguin (September 14, 2005) Sometimes, a game just shouldn't be made. An idea is executed sloppily, and the developers know it. However, they also know that the game could probably sell millions of copies no matter what kind of crap is thrown into it, so they end up taking a chance and releasing the shoddy production anyways. Capcom is the king of doing this, and their most disastrous example of this low-ball marketing plot is Breath of Fire 3.
