Reader review by djskittles (August 24, 2006) Brave Fencer Musashi is a treasure trove of delightful oddities. First, there’s the amusing food obsession with locales such as Grillin’ Village and characters named Princess Fillet and Ginger Elle. Next, there’s the pint-sized hero, Musashi, a pre-teen samurai with a very high opinion of himself. Factor in other odd things, such as collectible action figures and the presence of Vambees (half-vampires, half-zombies), and you have the makings for an interesting ride. Combined with the e... |

Reader review by pickhut (May 09, 2012) Most people anticipated games like Parasite Eve and Xenogears, but I showed zero interest in those, following instead a title called Brave Fencer Musashi. Touted as a 3D adventure similar in style to oldschool games like The Legend of Zelda, I was captivated by the colorful imagery and descriptions in magazines, about a blue-haired sword fighter summoned through time to a kingdom in distress. |

Reader review by psychopenguin (March 07, 2005) My favorite video game company of all time is SquareSoft. Never in my life have I seen such a company that could focus on mainly one genre (RPG) for so long, then delve into other genres (Einhander as a shooter, Ehreigz as a fighting game) and succeed so wildly as a result. So when I heard of the cool Playstation game made by SquareSoft named Brave Fencer Mushashi, I made sure to pick up a copy of it as soon as possible. Hearing of the amazing gameplay elements, the game reminded me of Secret of... |
