Staff review by Jason Venter (Date unavailable) Looking at the game with modern eyes, it's easy to see a number of flaws in almost every aspect. The world map is too small. The graphics are bland at times, gaudy at others. There isn't enough diversity in the soundtrack. Monsters are too easily defeated in some instances, too challenging in others. There isn't enough variety. These are all flaws that can't be ignored. But here's the good news: they mostly don't matter. |

Staff review by Rob Hamilton (August 12, 2011) The toughest part of the final dungeon for me was the opening floors, simply because I frequently ran into encounters with multiple gas dragons and their brutal breath attack. Reader review by JoeTheDestroyer (March 05, 2011) There was a time when most of my friends were discovering girls and I was completely ignoring them. I had bigger things to worry about, like how to best destroy Kary and restore the fire crystal. While most of my friends were talking about boobs and making out, I was talking about swords and critical strikes. Final Fantasy was one of those gateways to the realm of extended virginity, but it was a blast. |

Reader review by sgreenwell (Date unavailable) It receives a lot of acclaim simply because of the name that it carries. It has very little to do with the other games in the series. |
