Staff review by Jason Venter (January 27, 2003) Play control is tight as can be. If you die, it's not because Darkwing Duck failed to jump where you told him to. He can hop with the best of them, grab onto beams above him, and fire several shots at a time. Switching to his special weapon is a snap, too. You'll find yourself comfortable with the controls to their fullest extent within the first five minutes of play. |

Reader review by joseph_valencia (July 08, 2009) “Darkwing Duck” is a video game that is always inventive and rarely redundant. Here is a game where there are discoveries in every level, be it in the form of new enemies or obstacles. It is true to the spirit of the early 1990s cartoon show that inspired it, right down to the title character’s spiel every time he arrives on the scene. “I am Darkwing Duck!” he says. He also trips on banana peels, and his expression when he runs out of hearts is exactly the kind I would expect him to put on. The ... |

Reader review by ratking (January 27, 2003) As all of you should know, Darkwing Duck was a duck who walked and talked like any human and wore a purple suit, and was supplied with various devices from his sidekick Launchpad McQuack and his neice Gosalyn. He had enemies galore, including the fearsome five, which spurred on this seven staged game in which seven of his greatest enemies lurked to stop Darkwing Duck himself. |
