Staff review by Gary Hartley (May 10, 2010) Shepherd’s Glen looked every bit the next-gen reincarnation of Silent Hill, then new protagonist Alex Shepherd turns up in his surplus army coat, frizzy hair and a rugged stubble beard, looks you deep in the eyes and proclaims in a bold, confident voice “I’ve completely missed the point!”

Reader review by Probester (October 15, 2008) In light of the innovations made by competing survival horror franchises such as Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark, it wasn’t surprising that the latest Silent Hill game would be pretty different from the rest of the games in the series.
