Things haven’t changed a lot, so much as been refined, the fourth time ‘round. The usual suspects are on offer: Ninja Gaiden’s Ryu Hayabusa, the super ninja; Kasumi, the sexy ninja pacifist (I kid you not); Hitomi, the hot German kareteka; Hayate, the unbelievably powerful pretty boy ninja. In case you’re new to the DoA experience – yes, there are a lot of ninjas.

Whether it's drunken master Brad immersing himself in drink, Helena discovering the truth about her mother's murder, or the "romance" between Leifang and Jann Lee coming to its conclusion, Dead or Alive 4 is the true sequel to DOA2 that Dreamcast fans have longed for and that ignorant blowhards have feared.

November 22, 2005 was the day Microsoft finally launched its brand new console, the Xbox360. While Dead or Alive 4 is a bit late for the launch party, the amount of polish and features more than makes up for it. Like the previous Xbox, Team Ninja welcomes the new Microsoft system with another solid addition of the Dead or Alive series.
