Ever been the subject of useless or unfair comparisons? You have? Then you’ll understand Perfect System’s plight. “It doesn’t look as good as ThunderForce IV, and that game is 16-bit!” Wait, there’s more: “And the Saturn version sounds better.” Even 2D shooter fans who don’t purchase outside of their Playstation comfort zone might chime in, “it doesn’t have the polish of an Einhander.” All of this is true.
