Reader review by faktor (Date unavailable) The XBOX- claimed to be the world's strongest console. The boys at Bungie tried to prove this by making a FPS, that uses every ability of the ''Box'', and then some. In my opinion, they did one hell of a job. |

Reader review by goatx3 (November 22, 2002) Halo is the first Xbox game I ever played. To this day, it’s also the BEST Xbox game I’ve ever played. |

Reader review by goldenvortex (November 03, 2005) Ironically, I only purchased Halo because I’d played Munch’s Oddysee to death and picked it up because it looked “ok.” OK? If I had heard myself say those words a month after my sceptical purchase, it would’ve probably led to some deserved self-harm. Reader review by Halon (December 29, 2005) Halo was the first must-play game on Microsoft's XBox, and to this day is is still seen as one of the best, if not the best game on the system. Yet they look somewhat eager for battle. Are they suicidal? Do they lust for battle so much that they don't care if they die? It's not just that though. A bit of confidence tingles in their eyes. A giant of a man stands up. He is over 7 feet tall, and clad in green armor. Perhaps this man's badassness is the source of their confidence. How could this be t... |

Reader review by tomclark (February 03, 2004) Launch. Game. Roll those words about in your head for just a moment. What springs to mind? Recent history dictates that it will probably be thoughts of lacklustre efforts like Ridge Racer V and it's ilk - games that certainly looked very pretty, but lacked any gameplay flair that set them apart from any previous system. Well hold on to your dungarees, boys and girls, because if that's what you were thinking, then Halo is going to leave you ecstatically surprised. Sorry to ruin any suspense that ... |
