More people should be reading this review. And this is coming from a guy who never, ever leaves feedback on anything.

I also reckon video games in general could use more Itoi's. The CliffyB's and the occasional Kojima or Suda51 are good, but games ought to try bringing in more outsiders.

The result is a truly palpable sense of urgency and a better motivation for the player than any amount of "oh no, the [whatever big disaster] will strike in three days!" lines could ever accomplish (and besides, everyone knows fate will hang around for however many consecutive nights you stay at the inn).

Heh. This is what always killed me about most RPGs. Something bad will supposedly happen within minutes, yet you can lolligag around, level up, horde items like a real packrat, sleep and drink at the local inn, shoot the bull with the local folk, and nothing ever happens.
