Thanks for taking on the task of reviewing Deus Ex. Writing a review of it, and condensing it to a mere 1500 words or less, is a difficult task when considering the scale and scope of this game.

I found a few inaccuracies though... UNATCO was a government agency, not a private company, so I don't know if "corporate image" is entirely the right way to describe it. Maybe you're remembering Deus Ex: Human Revolution where you played as a corporate security man?

Also, I'm really not sure what production issues you are referring to in your first paragraph. Daikatana was only released a month before this game was, so Deus Ex would have been basically completed already. Ion Storm also had two development studios, one headed by John Romero and the other by Warren Spector, and they were actually two completely different teams working in different cities. It's unfortunate that they shared the same company name, but the quality produced by one did not necessarily reflect on the other.
